RE.MEMBER Tour
– Ending Human Trafficking

Sponsored by FFMC and The Abolition Club at SPU, the RE.MEMBER Tour offers the truthful struggle of two survivors of Human Trafficking. Trong and Rani Hong offer a visual and verbal journey through years of struggle,
isolation and hope. Through the layered images, the light-hearted humor, and the unflinching hope, you will walk away informed and inspired. The Hongs have shared their story on national and international forums including,” The Oprah Winfrey Show.”

This week in the adult Wednesday night program, Jason Groenink will share his story as it relates to The Challenge of Love and Marriage (1st Cor. 13:4-7).
Third Thursday Luncheon
October 16 at 11:30am
Next Thursday is this year’s first Third Thursday luncheon, followed by a
program entitled “Alaska-Windows into the Wilderness” where Bob & Norma Cathey will give a visual presentation. The luncheon will be held in the Fine Center . Please sign up in your Sunday School class or with the church office (206-281-2240)

Made with Love is back on Tuesdays at 9:30am on the 4th floor. Please join this
creative group as they put together hygiene bags for women’s shelters, knit scarves for the homeless and hats for babies in Africa, and make gift bags for those in our

Helping Make A Difference In A Child’s Life

Operation Nightwatch’s “Sock it to the Homeless”
Operation Nightwatch is collecting pairs of new white adult men’s socks for
distribution to homeless people. The goal this year is 25,000 pairs of socks. Boxes are available in each foyer for sock donations. Also, the annual Sock it to the Homeless event is Sunday, October 19th from 1:30-3pm. Call the church office for more details (206-281-2240).
