Local Outreach Ministries
Outreach...Touching our City and The World
Did you know that FFMC supports 17 Seattle-based agencies as part of our Local Outreach? Did you know that you could be involved in one of these vital ministries? Check out the City Lights newsletter (updated Nov. '08).
The congregation at FFMC is commited to serving the local and global community by committing resources of people and finances to go to and give assistance for the care of the person and the soul.
For volunteer opportunities, call Pastor Bonnie Brann at the church office.
Bread for Operation Nightwatch
Could you help Operation Nightwatch by making a “bread run” twice a month? The bread is picked up midday the 1st and 3rd Monday at Fran’s Bakery on 6th Ave. South and delivered to Operation Nightwatch. Call Rick at 206-323-4359.
Urban Impact Dessert Night
You are invited to join Urban Impact for the 2010 Dessert Fondue Night "Primed for Impact." The event is Friday, March 19th, 6:30-8:30pm at University Presbyterian Church. Please email bonnie(at)ffmyc(dot)org if you'd like to sit at a table hosted by FFMC.
Family Promise Spring Brunch
This year's fundraiser "Simple Gifts" will explore the impact Family Promise has on the lives of guests and volunteers. You're invited March 20th from 12-2pm to St. John's Episcopal Church. Family Promise, a ministry that our church supports, offers safe shelter and supports homeless children and their families in transitioning back home. Contact bonnie(at)ffmc(dot)org with questions.
