Wednesday Nights at First Free Methodist Church
Wednesday Night Program Kicks Off September 15th!
Join us Wednesday Nights for our Church Dinner at 5:45pm in the Fine Center.
(Cost: $4 for adults, $2.25 for children, $13.00 family maximum.)
Following dinner there are the following programs for children, youth, and adults from 6:45-7:45pm:
Children
The KidTown Clubhouse begins after the 5:45 family dinner with gym time at 6:15, and Bible-based activities from 6:45 to 7:45.
A Wednesday night preschool program is also being offered this fall. Our preschool program and our Wednesday night nursery care both start at 6:30pm and are offered for children whose parents remain on campus.
Youth
Middle School and Senior High, 6:15-8pm in the Youth Center Starting with a time of fellowship centered around group activities, students will worship together then split up into age and gender-specific small groups to facilitate growth and learning together in Scripture and in life.
Adult
September 15th - At 6:45pm you’re invited to a special Journey of Prayer service in the Sanctuary, as we offer this new year in the life of our church to God.
September 22nd - November 17th - Lectio: Guided Bible Reading
Our own Celeste Cranston (Director of the Center for Biblical and Theological Education at SPU) will lead the adult class: Lectio: Guided Bible Reading on Genesis and the first part of Exodus this fall. Written by Dr. Frank Spina, Old Testament Scholar from SPU, we have the opportunity to join our extended SPU community in studying the same passages at the same time.
