Pastor’s eNote: Weekly Update

The leadership of FFMC has been hard at work on our planning and budget for our upcoming fiscal year beginning on September 1, 2024. The Leadership Team will be sharing much about our strategic plans for the coming year along with our budget at the FFMC Annual Meeting immediately after worship on June 23, 2024. During the month of June, FFMC will holding its first stewardship campaign focused on our important support of the ministries of our church. Rather than special fundraising effort, this new annual campaign will ask each of us in the life of the church to prayerfully consider how we will support our church through our financial giving.

John Glancy is leading our campaign along with a supportive team of leaders. I’ll be preaching three sermons on our discipleship of money on June 9, 16, and 23. The growth of our congregation is exciting to see. I know each person who calls FFMC home will be in prayer for this campaign and how each person can support the work of the Lord in our congregation.

Over these coming weeks, you can expect to hear from members of the Stewardship Team. We will be sharing some of the stories of how we see God at work in FFMC and how each of us can respond. I encourage all of us to be in prayer for this important effort surrounding our church’s financial support. Our entire staff and leadership give thanks to all of you who regularly support our church with your gifts. God is doing great things. It is a blessing to support all God is doing in Jesus’ Name!
