Fostering Hope Spotlight

I recently picked up a beautiful leather chair from a Queen Anne couple. They had posted it on a local Buy Nothing Facebook Group, and kindly selected Fostering Hope from among the interested responders. When I arrived, they asked about the ministry we do, where we are located, and how we find the recipients. In response to my answers they asked if we could use their beautiful bed frame for one of our teen recipients. Yes! After viewing our website and a longer conversation about our ministry, they offered up boxes and boxes of kitchen items.

As this family heard a few stories about who we are and whom we serve, the more they wanted to give. They understood our mission, and the opportunity to be a part of it. I thank God for this beautiful morning, watching our work move these neighbors, as it has so many of us at FFMC.
