Impact Middle East with Hany & Joanne Salah
You are invited to give generously to help us meet our commitments with our global partners. So far, we are more than $20,000 behind in 2022 giving towards missions. Your gifts matter to the missionaries we support, such as Hany and Joanne Salah. Hany was a member of FFMC for several years as he earned his graduate degree at SPU before returning to serve the Lord in the Middle East. You can check out their video below to learn more about their amazing work serving the refugees in Iraq and people of Turkey with trauma healing groups, post-natal care, and Bible studies in house churches.
Giving so that God’s servants can holistically meet needs and take His message throughout the world is an outward material expression of a deeper spiritual commitment and an indication of a willing and obedient heart. “Everyone should give whatever they have decided in their heart. They shouldn’t give with hesitation or because of pressure. God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7).
Though the main reason we give to missions is to fund God’s work around the world, there are also benefits to us:
- We remember that God is the owner of all we have, and we are only managers;
- The spread of Christ’s sacrificial love can be advanced throughout the world;
- We are blessed spiritually because we realize God’s calling for each of us as Christ-followers is to “stand in the gap”;
- We discover unexpected blessings.
The great 19th century preacher Charles Spurgeon put it well, “In all of my years of service to my Lord, I have discovered a truth that has never failed and has never been compromised. That truth is that it is beyond the realm of possibilities that one has the ability to out give God. Even if I give the whole of my worth to Him, He will find a way to give back to me much more than I gave.”
Thank you for joining us in caring for our partners who are sacrificially serving Jesus around the world.
