Sam is an accomplished artist and musician. He has worked closely with Dr. Stephen Newby and is familiar with FFMC while playing here previously under Dr. Newby’s leadership. Sam served as the Worship Director for Westgate Chapel for a number of years. He is a composer, arranger, and software author. Sam has vast experience is contemporary Christian music, gospel, jazz, and hymns with both instrumentalists and vocalists. He is deeply relational in his approach to ministry through his work of equipping others for serving in worship leadership. He is a graduate of the University of Idaho with a degree in music and business.

Sam is married to his wife Brianne, a graduate of SPU, and they share two young children.
