Pastor’s eNote: Weekly Update

On March 28, in the early afternoon, a devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar including many other nations in Southeast Asia. Local authorities estimate that over 10,000 deaths may have occurred due to the quake. The entire region lacks basic necessities, such as food and water, along with no power or internet.

Our Free Methodist World Missions are active in Myanmar with churches and pastors impacted by the disaster. Here is a helpful and hopeful video from the Superintendent in the area describing the situation:

If you would like to financially support the efforts of the Free Methodist Church in Asia to bring relief and hope to Myanmar, please donate at:

Let us all keep the people and churches of Myanmar in prayer during this crisis. Even in the rubble and disaster, the Lord is at work.

Grace to You All,

Pastor Craig Brown
