Preparing for the FFMC Annual Meeting
June 22, 2025 – Following Sunday Worship
We are just a little more than two weeks away from our Annual Meeting on Sunday, June 22 right after worship. Our meeting time will focus on the choices we will be making with our facility in the coming years while also hearing about budget and leadership in the year to come.
The Leadership Team has been focused on defining the vision of our church’s ministry for the coming years. Decisions about buildings, staff, leadership, and ministry all flow from the choices about who we want to be serving in ministry.
The Leadership Team has defined four areas of ministry focus to help guide us through these important choices about buildings, budgets, and staff. We believe that discerning WHAT to do comes before deciding HOW it can happen.
WHAT we will do are these four areas of ministry:
1. Build our church’s long-term community from those who live in our immediate area of Queen Anne.
2. Strengthen our church’s community by engaging with those who commute to FFMC by developing ministries and groups closer to where they live.
3. Serve local families who are the poorest and most vulnerable here in the city, including but not limited to foster care families.
4. Support students and younger adults with safe places to grow their own discipleship while being part of the FFMC community.
Holding these four ministries as the core of God’s work at FFMC will help us navigate this next season of life together. Will you begin praying now about each of these four areas and HOW the Lord is calling you to share in ministry?
Our Annual Meeting will be guided by these four areas of ministry. We are excited about the future of FFMC as we watch God’s mighty work unfold in the coming years.
