Jayde has been attending FFMC since shortly after Covid and she fell in love with the congregation and then with Free Methodism! With a background in theater tech, she initially joined the church through volunteering on the Sunday morning Tech Team, eventually stepping into the role of Tech Director. Her favorite part of her job is the lively banter and quick wit shared among the dedicated volunteers who keep Sunday morning tech running smoothly (most of the time). From running technology, she got to know many of the middle and high school students that are a part of our church which led her to join the leadership of Wednesday night youth groups. While volunteering, the students quickly captured her heart, inspiring her to invest deeply in both their challenges and their joys. Every Wednesday night you can find Jayde Googling new slang as she attempts to translate what high schoolers are saying, dodging Nerf bullets that fly through the space, and investing and praying for the spiritual growth of each student as they know Christ better. Jayde is a recent SPU grad with a BS in Criminology and a minor in Theatre Tech.
