Preparing for the FFMC Annual Meeting
June 22, 2025 – Following Sunday Worship
Our Annual Meeting at FFMC is an important time to hear about our goals for the coming year, our budget to support those goals, and to elect those who serve in leadership. The meeting this year is especially important. We will be deciding the next steps FFMC will take with its campus.
Since emerging from the pandemic, the state of our buildings has been an ongoing question. The costs of renovating are significant and well-beyond the capacity of our congregation to fund. In February of this year the Leadership Team shared three possible options for our church’s campus.
- Do Nothing
- Sell Our Entire Campus and Relocate
- Stay at Our Current Location & Develop Our Property
From the beginning, the Leadership Team has been clear that it believes option #3 is our best and most fruitful option into the future. What does option #3 mean? What are the opportunities?
Developing our property is a process which takes a considerable amount of time. The first step in the process is to determine what we can do. What possibilities are there?
At the Annual Meeting, those in attendance will vote on the following:
“Shall FFMC begin exploring development options of its campus for future ministry?”
There are no costs, financial or otherwise, to take this step.
FFMC will have several votes over the coming years to approve or reject any possible proposal.
Right now, the question is about exploring the options.
There are two actions we ask of you right now:
- Pray about the wonderful opportunities FFMC will have for future ministry.
- Register to attend the Annual Meeting on June 22 at ffmc.org/events.
Grace in abundance,
