Pastor’s eNote: Weekly Update
There are so many wonderful things happening in the life of our church this summer. Across all ages and groups, there is continued excitement for what God is doing in our midst. Allow me to share some of them with you here.
Friday Night Dinners: Our second monthly dinner focused on our North Queen Anne Childcare (NQACC) families was a huge hit this last Friday. Over fifteen families attended, shared in pizza, and helped to make 100 first aid kits for Fostering Hope, Penny’s Place, and REST. The Friday Night Dinners will continue each month for the year ahead.
Wednesday Youth Group: We continue to gather youth each Wednesday evening. Some of our youth are from established families in our church while others are youth who have attended our foster families support group. This great mix of students is helping to lead worship each week and is stepping into deeper commitments of faith.
Colombia Missions Trip: Our group of eight continues to make their preparations to leave for Colombia NEXT week. Be sure to join in Sunday Worship when we pray over and ask God to bless this group as they depart.
Remember to join in our Picnic & Music event on the Tiffany Loop at SPU NEXT Wednesday, July 31 at 5:00 p.m. We look forward to fellowship with folks from FFMC along with our NQACC families.
Grace to You All,
Pastor Craig Brown

P.S. Bettina and I will miss you at the Picnic & Music event next week. We will be traveling to a memorial service for Bettina’s uncle on the Central Coast of California.
