Pastor’s eNote: Weekly Update

We are just a couple of days away (Thursday, August 1) before our mission team leaves for Colombia. Our time of prayer over the team during Sunday worship was a blessing. We know God is going to do some great things through the work of this fantastic and called team. We handed out a daily devotional to use while our team is in Colombia. An electronic copy can be downloaded at ffmc.org/events.

We will be celebrating God’s work on this mission trip during Sunday worship on September 15, 2024. Music and testimony will be an important time in our worship on that Sunday. We will have snacks and refreshments in the Fine Center after worship.

I do hope many in the FFMC family along with families of the NQACC will join in our picnic and music in the Tiffany Loop this Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. Bring your blanket, chairs, and most importantly, your picnic dinner. Weather is looking good for a relaxing evening in the Loop just across the street from FFMC on the Seattle Pacific University campus.

May we each continue in a spirit of prayer for our missionaries from FFMC and all our missionaries supported by FFMC. We live in challenging days for the gospel, which means there are great opportunities for the mission of Jesus to grow in new ways. Let’s continue to lift these opportunities before the Lord!

Grace to You All,

Pastor Craig Brown

P.S. Bettina and I will miss you at the Picnic & Music event this week. We are traveling to a memorial service for Bettina’s uncle on the Central Coast of California. I’ll return to the church Thursday morning.
