Staffing Transitions

Friends,

The Leadership Team of FFMC has some important news to share with you about our church’s staff and ongoing leadership.

We have decided to open a new position on our staff called Executive Administrator/Pastor this summer. This new position will replace our current staff position of the Director of Facilities currently filled by Melinda Howard. This means that Mindy’s time on our staff will conclude on July 31, 2025.

The Leadership Team did not arrive at this decision easily. Given our budget deficit, it was impossible to simply add this new position. Please know that this decision had nothing to do with Mindy’s commitment and performance in her current role. The Leadership Team is incredibly thankful for Mindy’s work over the years and will do everything it can to assist her in this transition.

You are encouraged to be in prayer for Mindy as she navigates this new season. Please be in prayer for our search process for an Executive Administrator/Pastor. The Leadership Team believes that this new position is essential to support our church in the coming years.

We will have a celebration and thanksgiving for Mindy following worship on Sunday, August 3 as part of our Sunday Café. More information will be coming about how we can all say thank you to Mindy as she moves into this next season of life and ministry.
