Pastor’s eNote: Weekly Update

Introducing FFMC’s
New Executive Pastor

Welcome Rev. Tim Root

The Leadership Team of FFMC is pleased to announce that Rev. Tim Root has accepted our position for Executive Pastor beginning Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

Pastor Tim brings a wealth of knowledge from his career in the corporate world, having served as a Senior Program Manager for Amazon, Director of Operations for Jackson-Hewitt, and Senior Manager for FedEx. His work experiences include oversight of almost every aspect of administrative and management functions in organizations.

Pastor Tim has been deeply engaged at Northwest Church in Federal Way, WA, where he has helped lead men’s ministries, Sunday School classes, and the development of key programs for the church as an associate pastor.

He and his wife, Priscilla, have been married for 44 years, have three adult children, and three grandchildren. They have lived in the Puget Sound area for decades and are well acquainted with our mission field.

We will have a formal installation for Pastor Tim this Sunday in our Sanctuary Worship Service at 10:00 a.m.

As I shared last week, Pastor Tim will be immediately assuming responsibilities in the following areas :

FINANCES-Working directly with our Finance Team and other staff to oversee the church’s financial condition, budget, and expenditures.

HUMAN RESOURCES-Serving as the “head-of-staff” to ensure that FFMC and the NQACC staff have the support and resources to accomplish their goals.

FACILITY-Overseeing the facility use and maintenance for both FFMC and outside organizations in partnership with our Facility Team.

DEVELOPMENT-Serving as the key point person in the church’s effort to develop its property for the next 50 years of mission and ministry.

You can reach Pastor Tim at the church office or by emailing him at tim@ffmc.org. I know he is looking forward to connecting with all of you in the FFMC family.

Join me in welcoming Pastor Tim and Priscilla to FFMC. We see the hand of God at work in this moment and pray that you will join us in prayer for Pastor Tim’s ministry among us.

Grace to You All,

Pastor Craig Brown
